This Grade A Castle is a privately owned historic house that can be your home for you and your guests to enjoy on an exclusive basis.

The history of Aldourie is as varied as the landscape in which it sits, Aldourie through the generations is interwoven with Scotland's national history. The Cameron, Campbell, Frasers and Mackintosh clans have all played their part to make it what it is today. From 1626 when the Grade A Castle was first built to General Wade's passing and to the Battle of Culloden, history is all around you at Aldourie.

It has recently been beautifully restored and has a unique authentic historic house atmosphere for you to experience. It is welcoming throughout the year whatever the occasion, be it business or pleasure.  It is ideally suited to holidays, house parties for family and friends or special celebrations.

Over the last two years, the Estate has undergone a significant restoration programme.  Finished to the highest of heritage standards, the Castle features the finest furnishings and fabrics and truly is a place to sit back, relax and enjoy.  There is an abundance of bedrooms (12), each with their own character and views over the Loch or surrounding parkland.

The Castle can be taken in a number of ways and we will tailor make your stay, from helping you decide your itinerary, to ensuring you have the team to help whether it be chefs to chauffeurs.

Aldourie is yours to enjoy...

Aldourie has been featured in many films and photographic shoots. Its diversity on the Estate from stone circles, to the loch front to the Castle itself makes it a wonderful location for stills or film.
