The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel & Spa voted Small Luxury Hotel of the Year, sits at the heart of the Bolton Abbey Estate, all 30,000 acres of it. Once you have settled into your suite, make yourself comfortable on the terrace overlooking the glorious parkland and the Dales beyond or in front of one of our open fires with a champagne afternoon tea.

HelecopterYour helicopter will be ready to fly you to The Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter, one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds, where you will be greeted with champagne and canapés. Here you will be treated to a gourmet menu by Matt Weedon, Michelin starred chef.

Admire the stars in the sky and the twinkle of the village lights below as your helicopter brings you back to The Devonshire Arms where you enjoy the rest of your evening with coffee and petit fours in our Cocktail Lounge.

Enjoy a late breakfast in bed followed by a highly informative but fun estate tour by the Devonshire’s Concierge; a tour which is sure to work up an appetite.

After the estate tour, you will have an opportunity to relax and unwind in the The Devonshire Health Spa with an hour’s treatment each before dinner. Revitalised and invigorated, arrive in the lounge for champagne and canapés and a guided tour of the Devonshire Cellar by our Cellar Master, Nigel Fairclough.

Then, treat of treats, a tasting menu especially prepared for you by Stephen Smith, our Michelin starred chef, which is accompanied by carefully selected wines. After enjoying your delicious meal, retire to one of our lounges for coffee and liqueurs.

Next morning, enjoy breakfast either in your room or in the restaurant and have a final walk over the estate, perhaps to Bolton Abbey before heading home.
