The Grove

London’s Country Estate

The Grove, located at Chandlers Cross, Hertfordshire in the South of England has everything you’d expect from a grand luxury country house hotel - but with a twist. The service is genuinely welcoming and friendly, certainly not stuffy.  The unique style is a mix of traditional elegance and hip, contemporary design which we call “groovy grand”.

With 300-acres of park and woodlands, an award-winning spa, world championship golf course, and three restaurants, there are so many reasons to get into The Grove!

The Grove is part of the largest family-owned and run luxury hotel group in England. We have a commitment to friendly, personal service and a resistance to overbearing corporate direction. Our other hotels are one-offs, not me-too outposts of a faceless chain and we are proud to introduce our sister properties as The Athenaeum on Piccadilly in the heart of London, The Runnymede Hotel & Spa on the Thames near Windsor, and Greengarden House serviced apartments off Oxford Street.

At The Grove, our 227 guest hotel rooms and suites range from the luxurious to the truly palatial. From the ultimate in contemporary style and comfort in our West Wing rooms to the truly special in our uniquely designed and decadent Mansion suites, many with open fires and four-poster beds. Traditional country house elegance combined with 21st century design, views over the beautiful 300 acre estate and all the latest in room facilities will ensure the perfect night away.

Passionate About Food
